LESSON 7: ONLINE PLATFORM FOR ICT CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

In this lesson, I learned how to make a simple blog. Like this, where I am posting different lessons I have learned from our discussion. I learned  how to put some designs on it, how to change layout and template which I like most,insert pictures and write paragraph with a proper line spacing.

LESSON 12: ICT PROJECT FOR SOCIAL CHANGE

In this lesson, I learned what concept paper mean. For example, we decided to have a project here in our barangay then we will ask for a help to those who are in a position(Governor, congressman, mayor etc.) or to those people who have high status in life, we always write a simple letter or solicitation to let them convince to be our sponsor. I learned that we can use a concept paper, where we will write our mission and vision here about the project, the reason why we need sponsor, the importance of our project, how much money we need for this project, then at the bottom of this concept paper we will put how they can contact us. We should be confidence to our project to become a reality.

LESSON 9: COLLABORATIVE ICT DEVELOPMENT

In this lesson I learned that yahoo.com is an example of web portal which means contains information come from different website/sources. One click on it you will now see them in just one location like news, emails, weather etc.

LESSON 8: BASIC WEBPAGE CREATION

In this lesson, I learned that it is hard to make a website because it is compost of thousand or millions series of codes. But we can make a simple website if we want using microsoft word or notepad.

LESSON 6: WEBPAGE IMAGING AND DESIGN FOR ONLINE ENVIRONMENT

In this lesson, I learned that when we are going to make our own webpage, it should be simple but attractive. We dont need to put too much designs on it because our goal is to get or catch viewers attention.

LESSON 5: MICROSOFT POWERPOINT

In this lesson, I learned that microsoft powerpoint is the best for making power point presentation. We can make a series of slides here with different designs and effects, depend on us if what are the designs and effects we are going to choose or to select. Before, I didn't know about it because we didn't tackled the different keys, apps, webpage or website, etc about computer. I also learned the different tips in creating an effective presentation such as minimize, clarity, simplicity, visuals, consistency and contrast. I'm so glad that we already encounter this kind of topics and discussion, I have now knowledge in making power point presentation, especially when the time will come that I will be having my own gadgets.

LESSON 4: MICROSOFT EXCEL

Using microsoft excel I learned how to calculate more numerical values or data in just easiest and fastest way. I learned that in computing, the formula should start in an equal sign to get the correct answer. In this lesson i also learned the different file format of pictures such as JPEG(Join Photographic Experts Group),GIF(Graphics Interchange Format),BMP(Bitmap Format),TIFF format and PNG(Portable Networks Graphics). Among these formats JPEG is the most popular. It is better than the other because it is less pixel and have a high resolution.

LESSON 3: MICROSOFT WORD

In this lesson, I learned the different types of font style and font size. How to insert pictures and put designs on it, how to make a proper and right format of different kinds of written works such as application letter,resume or even in a simple paragraph. I also learned the different uses of shortcut keys from ctrl+A up to ctrl+Z. With the use of it, I found that it can make our work fast and easy,especially  when the time will come that our mouse will defective. We will not become worried if we already memorized all shortcut keys in computer.100%, it help us a lot.

LESSON 2: RULES OF NETIQUETTE

In this lesson, we discussed about netiquette which are rules about a proper and polite ways to communicate with other people when using an internet.This lesson gives me more ideas on how to find more friends through online without any trouble happen. I stop sending messages which are written in all caps because I learned that it sounds like  I am angry to whom I am conversing with. I learned the different rules which can help me to have an effective communication with other people. I also learned the different threats in internet such as malware, trojan, spyware, adware, spam and phishing which are very destroyer once it enter in our files,accounts,documents etc.Some of them have the ability to scan our files which may know our personal information.This lesson thought me how not to trust immediately to those advertisement or pop-ups that will appear in my computer or other gadgets so that my files will be secure and safe.

LESSON 1: INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

In this lesson, I learned that web 2.0 is the evolution of web 1.0 by adding dynamic pages, where in  it is more active, beautiful,and better to use than the static page.In this page, there is so many things that we can do.I learned the different feature of web 2.0 such as folksonomy, rich user experience, user participation, and software as a service. I learned the different uses or functions of different sites in social media like social news in which we can post  our own news, media sharing where we can upload and share our pictures, favorite music,and videos and some other sites we are using today.I also learned the different mobile technologies like iphone operating system(ios), which is for apple devices only such as ipad and iphone, android, which is open source operating system developed by google, blackberry os, symbian etc. And I learned that assistive media is a non profit service designed to help those people who have disorder/disability and reading impairment.There are so many things,terms and definitions I learned from this lesson.
